Firefox incessantly crashes before it has been open for ten seconds - even when I open in Safe Mode. I have removed and reinstalled the newest version of Firefox, however, no progress has been seen.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

To cor-el I did exactly just as you said. But nothing's changed. The same crash remains. It drives my crazy.

I had this same issue, with FireFox crashing constantly. It seemed random, but did happen EVERY time I accessed my gmail account. I clicked "disable all panels" from the Firebug menu, and the crashes completely stopped. Maybe caused by a JS or HTML error on the page that Firebug isn't catching properly? Hope they get it fixed soon!
