Updated the latest Flash. It is not not possible to play films on youtube and play songs on ubetoo. Tried the obvious reinstallation of Firefox (also reset) and Flash. Please advice

No need to uninstall Firefox, just go to the download page.

Download and install Firefox.

It will simply over right

the trouble is with WebM and HTML5 stuff

This solution, from http://techlogon.com/2012/06/10/early-problems-with-flash-player-pro..., worked best for me until Real issues an updated fix for their Firefox plugin/extenstion. The problem appears to stem from Adobe's flash update from a day or two ago wherein they added a "protection mode" which apparently has broken the Realplayer plugin for Firefox. Anyway, my preference was to keep the Realplayer download functionality so I followed the instruction at the url above to, at least temporarily, disable flash's protection mode. Works fine for me. FWIW.
