Recently Firefox updated to version 15 and since then any website running flash causes Adobe Flash 11.4.402.265 to stop working and I would have to wait for it to run its cycle in order to use the site.

And as long as I am still on the site I get the problem.

Forgot to mention, I tried uninstalling the plugin and re-installing it using Firefox itself but no luck.

Hi mjaafar,

Keep disable the hardware acceleration in firefox as finitarry suggest in the above reply and also:

"disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player too :

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html

try to Disabling Protected Mode in Flash (the link is for 11.3, do the same for 11.4), see the same : "Last resort" in the next link http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0

If you still have crashes you must Install Flash 10.3 but first uninstall your current version (11.4) with adobe uninstaller program

good luck

Hi

I gave your suggestion a go, unfortunately no luck. It only worked once I uninstalled 11.4 and replaced it with 10.3.

I also disabled the update feature.

Thanks
