FireFox stopped working with Hotmail Address Query...SOLVED

This is only a recent problem in the last three or four days but when I respond to a REPLY email or compose a new email neither the return address will appear under FireFox nor will address lookup appear. The list of email addresses cannot be found under this product BUT is found instantly under Internet Explorer. Do you have a work-around?

Perhaps a little tweaking is in order. Shockwave and Java were outdated and needed re-installation on mine! Took a couple of efforts with restarts but it is obvious that it solved my problems! Firefox Mozilla Toolbar 'Help' > 'Firefox Help' > lower right side of page displays link to Plugin Update review....

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
