Tabs load in reverse order
In Firefox v14, when I open the browser all my previous tabs load in proper order from which they were last time the browser was open. I upgraded to Firefox 15 and noticed, when opening the browser the previous tabs would load in reverse order. So I went back to Firefox 14. Firefox 16 is out and I am having the same issues. I am using a plug in called Tab Utilities Lite v1.1.5 mostly to get tabs to open right of current and close left of current, since Firefox does not do this basic function. Any Ideas of why in Firefox 14 it loads the tabs properly, but in 15 and 16 they load in reverse?

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
When in Safe Mode...
- The status of plug-ins is not affected.
- Custom preferences are not affected.
- All extensions are disabled.
- The default theme is used, without a persona.
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored.
- The default toolbar layout is used.
- The JIT Javascript compiler is disabled.
- Hardware acceleration is disabled.
If not, see this:

Hello Edmeister, Thank you for quick response. After some testing last night I can confirm it is the Plugin Tab Utilities Lite that is reversing my tabs on every load. I don't know how to run Firefox in safe mode as I'm using the portable version, so I don't run Firefox.exe directly.
However, I noticed that if I check "Keep the original order for continuous background tabs" checked, it will load them in the order I had them last on close, but unfortunately, it also loads tabs I open in a Main|1|2|3|4|5 order, instead of the way I prefer it of Main|5|4|3|2|1. I can deal with that, because I'd rather have my tabs keep their position, unless I just go back to Firefox 14 where everything worked fine.
I wonder what has changed in the coding of Firefox 15 & 16 where tab order acts this way with this plugin, but 14 is fine.
