Why isn't the homepage dark themed after installing the Nasa theme?

The homepage should be dark also in the nasa theme(the google search bar page) but it isn't. it's supposed to be according to the example shown before you download the theme. Same thing happens with all the dark themes.The homepage is still white and grey.look at the examples of full themes especially Nasa and see for yourself what I am talking about.Thanks.
