Did you install the Yahoo Toolbar as an add-on? If so, see Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page.
Otherwise, you can use the Search Reset add-on to easily restore your default Firefox search settings and home page.
Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
- Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32).
- (32 bit Windows) C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
- (64 bit Windows) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
There is no need to toggle the plugin.expose_full_path pref to true in Firefox 22 and later, so leave this pref set to false.

See "Manually uninstalling a plugin":
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
