firefox forcing constant signins for yahoo mail
Two days ago..I began to get pop ups requiring me to sign back in to Yahoo Mail . This happens everytime I try to access mail. The Pop ups clearly say "Yahoo Mail". So, I contacted Yahoo and have been back and forth with them. They say theres nothing in my account that would force the constant Sign in pop ups.
They suggested the usual:
Disable browser add-ons and plug-ins Clear your browser's cache and cookies Make sure that JavaScript is enabled Temporarily disable antivirus, antispyware, and firewall products Security programs can block certain scripts that are essential to Yahoo product features. Disable Internet Explorer compatibility view Compatibility view makes your browser work poorly with Yahoo features.
Ive checked all that. The problems doesnt seem to happen with IE so..perhaps theyre right..its something in the Firefox software? Any ideas?? Thanks!

Yahoo may demand re-authentication if something about your connection changes, such as a different IP address. In past threads, the first thing to check was to make sure you use your standard Windows connection in this dialog:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "Network" mini-tab, click the "Settings" button. Here you want either the default value of "Use system proxy settings" or "No proxy."
If you use a private VPN (anonymizing) service, or TOR, you may need to change your settings so your Yahoo sessions do NOT use those services.
I have this problem too. Started 14th October 2013 and is persisting.
But I have discovered that it only happens on my Notebook and ONLY with FireFox 24.0 combined with CA TOTAL Defense Internet Security installed.
So, FireFox 24.0 and TOTAL Defense ISS - I get forced disconnect only from Yahoo Mail and only sincce 14th October
If I use IE., it does not happen - If I uninstall TOTAL Defense ISS and use alternative Security, it does not happen.
