Stop firefox autom trying to upgrade to Version 26

I have kaspersky antivirus and it is disabled with version 26. I keep having to reinstall V 25 because it automatically upgrades to V 26. Can you tell me how to stop it auto upgrade until a patch is found.

By the way, Kaspersky is still protecting your computer even when the browser add-ons are disabled. The core function of quarantining or deleting dangerous files as you download them continues to run 24x7, since that feature hooks into the file saving process, no matter what application is doing the saving.
