Hello community. I need some help with my Sync account for Firefox. Recently my laptop got stolen and therefor I lost all my data. I setup sync on my old laptop and let it sync my settings, tabs, extensions etc.

But now when I try to log in on my new device it asks for my encryption key. I don't have that anymore. There is an option that says "I lost my old device" and when I click on it, I can see that in the settings screen behind it my settings and account are displayed but the "Next" button is grayed out. I really need my tabs back.

Solution choisie

Sorry, without having a 2nd device on that Sync account to allow "pairing" and not having the Recovery Key, you can't connect to the Sync server to retrieve your data.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess next time I just need to backup the Sessionstore.js.
