How do I download the heartbleeder-checker?
there is a recommendation to download the 'heartbleed-checker' in the press. I have tried to access it, but can't get to the real thing, to down load. What do I need to do? Is there a direct link available. (I tried https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hearbleed-checker, with no luck) Thanks. Eric Wangsten Redmond, WA

You were missing a T in that link (it's HEARTbleed, not HEARbleed).

I is rather simple, but probably effective although the results on whether a site is affected by heartbleed could be slightly ambiguous
It relies on http://filippo.io/Heartbleed/
You may use that directly and manually enter information.
