when i closed a new tab, i want to go back to my previous tab, how to set this?
everytime i open my facebook, i often click a news in it, and a new tab automatically appear with that news. when i finished reading that news and i closed the tab, it does not go back to my facebook tab, it goes to other tab. my friends tag me many articles and news everyday, and i have to click back my facebook tab manually many times. it's so sad. what i want is: when i close a new tab, i want to go back to my previous active tab automatically. how can i set this in firefox? please send the answer to hxxxxxxx@yahoo.com

This is what I see. Is this also what you see?
Firefox will open the new tab for "related" content (related tab) immediately adjacent to the tab containing the link (source tab).
If you haven't opened any other new tabs or viewed any other existing tabs before closing that related tab, when you close it, Firefox makes the source tab active again.
But if you so much as looked at another tab, Firefox loses the behavior you want and when you close the tab, assuming it was not the last tab, it shows the tab to the right instead of the source tab.
Note: there are many add-ons which change how tabs work in Firefox, so I'm only described the factory default behavior. If you were using an extension to change how tabs work, maybe it has stopped working correctly?
You can look at the browser.tabs.selectOwnerOnClose pref on the about:config page as that is the only way to affect what tab gets selected if you close a tab.
