FYI: It appears that my recent Thunderbird 31.1.0 application has affected the handling of my address book group entries.

On 9.3/2014 ~23:00cst, I updated Thunderbird from 31.0.0 to 31.1.0. Since my transition to Thunderbird, I've used and address book imported from MS OE6. This address book contains 6-10 group entries, where a group entry is simply an alias used to contain the group's member addresses. The group entries that I frequently use had been working fine until 9/4/2013 ~15:00. At which time email containing any group entry (Bcc)references would produce a failure message during send.

As I type this, I realize that I may need to do a little more diagnostic work. Because, although I frequently use these group entries, I can't say that I ever used any group entry in a Bcc reference.

And, just reading "Bcc group entry" rings fishy to me. Because something just looks wrong.

Let me continue some further diagnostics, and continue in a few days.

Sorry, for the interruption.

Thanks,

Gary

The exact error message would be a big help.
