I would like duck duck go to be my default search engine, so I put it at the top of my list. At first it was, but now amazon has taken over - not sure why, it wasn't the last site in my search list that I used. Is there a way to tell Firefox to always default the search engine to the one I've put at the top of the list? Thanks

Hello,

On your search bar (the bar to the right of the address bar) - is Amazon the icon that is showing up? If so, are you able to click on it and change it back to DuckDuckGo?

You can change the order of that list again by clicking the icon on the search bar, or the down triangle, and then selecting "Manage Search Engines...".

If it reverts back to Amazon after you restart Firefox, please see the How to fix preferences that won't save article.
