I just got a new acer all in one computer. 8.0 windows. Firefox is not working. I uninstalled and re- installed. I get gibberish. not sure what to do

I just got a new computer 8.0 windows- Firefox is not working but I see a lot of gibberish and java scrip etc. I have uninstalled and re installed. Still does not work. I tried to trouble shoot but it does not seem compatible with windows 8 What can I do?

Make sure that you have updated drivers: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL as well as updated Java versions.
