I have firefox on my laptop. 2 in 1, and my desktop. On my desktop...Error it will not load profile or it's inaccesible.

Everything in Mozilla Support doesn't work. It won't open in safe mode....the rest of the suggestions I have to access Firefox. That is the problem I can't access the site it will not open, profile error comes up every time. reset/restart doesn't clear it up. Firefox works well on my laptop (windows 7). It works, but constantly crashing and adobe flash will not work. (windows 8.1). Desktop running (windows 8.1). I've been troubleshooting for nearly 8 !/2 hrs. I'm very good with computers, but this has me stumped, not to mention, being at my wits end. Please. I am asking for a call in order to brain storm with me.
