How to suppress built-in screensaver?
With the latest FireFox Windows (39.0), when FireFox is idle for some amount of time (10 minutes?), it "goes to sleep" and runs a screensaver in the FireFox window.
I'm guessing it's the current default WIndows screensaver. Takes a bit of fiddling to "wake" Firefox up (mouse, keyboard ... not sure which).
At any rate, it's not as responsive in this mode as is basic Windows 7 Pro (64).
What can I do to keep FireFox out of the screensaver business?

Hi
I have checked and can confirm that Firefox does not have a screen saver feature installed by default.
If you have the FoxSaver add-on installed, you can remove it be following this article.
The only other thing I can think of is that it is to do with your Microsoft Windows screen saver or power saving settings.
The browser Firefox has never had a screen saver on Windows, Mac OSX or Linux as the closest thing was a startup splash screen back in the early days.
