I sent an email to my son and to myself as well. The message was sent, but it never arrived in my inbox. I always do this and my message is received okay.

On this occasion, I never received the message. In the sent folder, there is a right pointing orange arrow next to the sent message. I assumed that it was sent, but I did not receive the message in my inbox.

Was the message delivered to my son's email address?

What is going on?

Thanks

Are you using googlemail? They don't seem to approve of copies to oneself, arguing presumably that there would be a copy in Sent, if it's not also shown in All Mail.

Do you have an alternative email address of your own to send it to?

I gather that all this has worked in the past. What might have changed recently?
