Thunderbird won't find my new Virigin Media email address
Hi
I am using /thunderbird ver 38.3.0
My first email address is from Virgin Media, and works fine.
The other day I set up a second VM address - and Thunderbird won't find it. I repeatedely get the error message, shown in the attached screenshot (The new address works in webmail.)
Any ideas please?

To set up your new mail account:
File > New > Exisitng mail account or Menu icon > New Messages > Existing mail account
Enter your name Enter your full @virginmedia email address Enter password - same one you use to access webmail click on 'Continue' button

The image you supplied looks like you are trying to set it up again, but the server details are wrong. server name does not start with: .virginmedia.com
Before you try to create this account again, lets first see if it is already listed.
re :The other day I set up a second VM address - and Thunderbird won't find it.
Please explain more: If you have already created this mail account before.... Is it listed in the left 'Folder Pane' ? Is it listed in the 'Account Settings' window?
In Thunderbird: 'Help > TRoubleshooting information click on 'copy text to clipboard' paste info into this forum.
Hi - thanks for your time!
If you have already created this mail account before using Virgin Media.... Have created account, but Thunderbird can't find it.
Is it listed in the left 'Folder Pane' ? No, it isn't
Is it listed in the 'Account Settings' window? No, it isn't
The image you supplied looks like you are trying to set it up again, but the server details are wrong. server name does not start with: .virginmedia.com But Virgin Media says it is server name.
Installed EmailTray, and that found new email address at once.

Try filling the new account form correctly. The image you posted shows one problem. The buttons labeled IMAP and SMTP are just that, buttons to select the server type. It does not mean you do not have to enter the server name completely and correctly.
For this new existing mail account which you are trying to add. What is the part of your email address which comes after the @ ?

Thank you!
Yes, but - this is done automatically by Thunderbird. User has no control,
