I keep getting the following pop-up: https://ahteetgv-europe.org/a5d5d96c0b4e1fcf815594cc26ed6b02.html. Is the for real or a hoax? My AV warns me unsafe
Hello all at Mozilla. Happy New Year. !!!!!!
While surfing, the a window pop up (with pop-up disabled) and tells me my "network is infected" and to download the Firefox Patch. This is the URL that it comes from:
https://ahteetgv-europe.org/a5d5d96c0b4e1fcf815594cc26ed6b02.html
Since I did not see any mention of Mozilla or Firefox in the URL, I didn't trust it.
My AVG program warned me that it was dangerous

If you get a pop-up message asking to update Firefox or plugins or scanning for malware then such a message is likely a scam and you should never respond to such an alert to avoid getting infected with malware.
- Only update Firefox via "Help > About" or by downloading and installing Firefox from the Mozilla server and never via a pop-up or link on a web page.
- Plugins should only be updated via the plugin itself or by visiting the home page of the plugin.
