I am entering a new event. I set a start time. I set an end time eight hours later. Calendar changes the start time to one hour before the end time. How do I stop this behavior? The link symbol says "Keep the duration when changing the end date." I don't want it to do that. How can I turn it off?

Keazen oplossing

Click the link icon. When the links are touching the time is fixed. When the links do not touch you can set it like you want. You can also go into settings and change the fixed time frame if the default does not work for you.

I found the answer in questions/1089513#answer-829739. The arrows change when you click on the link symbol.

Even so, it only works one way. Even if the upper arrow is not there (the only choice other than both arrows), if you change the start time the end time will follow. You can, however, change the end time independently.

Where is the link Icon? And can this be converted to a configuration choice?

To the right of the time fields.
