Since yesterday lunchtime every attachment that a work colleague has sent me has appeared as winmail.dat instead of the Word format that she sent them in. She has not changed any settings on her computer and neither have I. In addition when I sent the e-mails back to her asking her to please send the attachments in Word format, the e-mail that she receives from me doesn't have any of the text that I had typed on it, but the file attachment shows in Word and not winmail.dat

Thanks and best wishes,

Frankie

This is a known Microsoft creating their own standards problem. Take it up with the person sending mail from Outlook.
