Computer runs on windows 7 but when starting to use computer for general use it is logical to start Firefox before doing anything else so that it has enough time to think how it can access the internet for use later on, currently minimum startup time is 2 minutes but can require 3-4 minutes. Seeing website advertises a fast use for web browsing the sooner the version I have installed responds quicker the longer it will remain on my computer otherwise I will have to delete it and its componenets and install a more reliable web service programme.

You might try disabling your Motive Plugin for Mozilla Browsers . It doesn't read too well in Google. Do you know what it is?

Computer runs on windows 7 ...

You posted here with a PC that appears to be running WinXP, per the User Agent reported in your initial posting in System Details in the right-column.

Different PC?

If the same, check to make sure you aren't running In Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Compatibility Node. Right-click the desktop shortcut for Firefox and select Properties. Then view the Compatibility tab and see if Run this program in compatibility mode for is check-marked.
