Do Questions Asked in This Forum Only Last a Certain Amount of Time??
I asked a question several weeks ago and got emails telling me I had replies to it--the date of the emails was April 14th to be exact--but my desktop PC has crashed since then and I've been too busy with getting that problem fixed to get back to the replies to my earlier question. I've just today opened the emails from this Forum but when I click on the link provided to take me back to my question, I get a screen which says, "Page Not Found."
Do questions expire after a certain length of time here in this Forum? I got replies to my questions on April 14th and it's just now May 5th, but my goodness, it's only been 3 weeks since I was last here......am I to expect any questions I post to this Forum will disappear in 2-3 weeks time?
In many other tech support Forums I've been in over the 18 years I've been online, questions posed don't just fade away into thin air. It's always possible to find the questions I've posted in other Forums in some way or other.

A few weeks back they moved this forum to a new platform. Now they moved it back due to issues so there are some gaps from the moves. There was a notice banner at the top of the screen but who reads warnings.

Thanks for the reply, Airmail. When I posted this question on 5/5 there wasn't a warning banner on this website, but when I first posted my original question back on 4/14 I remember something along that line.
But, when I came back here for replies on the 4/14 question the warning banner was gone. I then thought maybe the first time I saw the warning banner warning banner it was some kind of Internet error like error message 404, but now I think about it the warning was on the Home page of 'this"' website itself and not just on a blank screen.
I don't live in the IT world, so these things don't always sink in right away. And, most times, never.
Thanks, again.
