I can't sign into a Gmail account either. Literally no links work on the page to sign into a Gmail account

I have this problem too. I tried: 1. Running Thunderbird without my Cyberghost VPN running (never was a problem before...) 2. Reinstalling Thunderbird 3. Forcing a new OAuth on one of my Gmail accounts. Thunderbird can't complete the OAuth because a secure connection cannot be made 4. Running Thunderbird with all plugins disabled. 5. Running Thunderbird on a different wi-fi connection.

Here's the notification I get when I try to get mail:

The link I'm supposed to be able to click to make an exception does nothing.

I found the issue in my case. It turns out I need to ask a new question in the forum because the issue is that suddenly the OAuth2 setting just stopped working. I went back to using plain passwords and all is suddenly well.
