Keazen oplossing

"drag it from the Threads Pane (message list) and drop it onto the new mail window to the right of the address area, just like any file attachment. "

Huh? When I am composing an email, it covers the entire screen. Cannot see the index at all, so cannot drag.

I do not have Thunderbird in front of me but memory tells me to Right click the message and select Forward as Attachment.

If you don't want to forward the message, just drag it from the Threads Pane (message list) and drop it onto the new mail window to the right of the address area, just like any file attachment. In TB 60, the attached message will show the name of the attachment as the Subject of the message.

No such area exists. Left top is list of mail folders, top right is index of mail in current folder, entire bottom is display of whatever email I have selected.

I'm using Layout = Wide View. But Classic & Vertical don't have a New Mail Window either.

Seems to work for a single email, but I need to attach several. And do it from within the email I am composing. The MESSAGE dropdown (which contains Forward As) does not exist in the composition window.

When you have the new message window in the foreground, hover on the TB icon in the taskbar, then click on the thumbnail for the main window to bring it to the front. Then drag a message(s) from the Threads Pane over the new message taskbar thumbnail to make the message window come to the front, and drop the attaching message to the right of the address area.

Can't find the forward link...

No such icon. Only the word Thunderbird in the main dropdown menu, to the right of the APPLE operating system icon.
