Hello

i use Thunderbird 52.7 under GNU/Linux (my default Browser is Firefox) Yes i have check out the article: Hyperlinks in Messages Not Working - but nothing helps me

In the Article above i read: "Edit > Preferences and click on the Attachments panel. If HTTP and/or HTTPS are listed in the Content Type column, either delete the action or ensure the specified action is correct. "

My "Attatchment panel" is empty!

If i change the network.protocol-handler.external-default by hand, and restart Thunderbird, nothing new happens

What can i do ??

Thanks in Advanced

my guess is you only think your default is correctly set. about 90% of thise with an issue do not have the default set.

In Firefox ensure that the option/preference in about:preferences to always check if Firefox is the default is turned on. Then restart Firefox and see if that has an effect

You might also advise what distribution and what desktop you are using. We find most distributions "modify" the program so the distribution is important. Likewise knowing what desktop manager you are using is helpful as each has it's own issues.

The forum software only reports X11; Linux x86_64 with is in this instance particularly unhelpful
