Im trying to clean up some old cookies from my browser. When I go the the "manage cookies and data" page instructions show at the bottom of the page links for the removal of specific web sites. On my page there are no buttons at the bottom of the page. So how do I delete individual site data?

Try to zoom out (Ctrl + -) this window to see if that makes the buttons appear.

Hello uncleresry,

You can use the Storage Inspector to remove individual cookies for a specific website, via the right-click context menu. To open the Storage Inspector, go to the 3-bar menu => Web Developer submenu or press 'Shift + F9' on the keyboard.

Would that work for you  ?

COuldnt figure out how to use it. It didnt show me the list of data stored or cookies and couldnt find a search option for that data.

Maybe you could try to go in full screen mode (F11)  ?

Does that work  ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Can you attach a screenshot like I requested above as that allows us to see what the problem is?

For best results, zoom out on the Options/Preferences page before clicking the Manage Data button.

There's also a "grippy" at the lower right to expand the dialog if there's more room on the screen to do that.

THanks for all your suggestions. Nothing seemed to work. So I was trying to figure out how to post the screen shot. Id taken one but it wasnt uploading properly so I decided to give up struggling and take another. When I open the "manage cookies and data page low and behold the buttons that were not there appeared. I dont know what change this. Nothing I did that I am aware of though I played with the grippy and the zoom functions and they didnt change anything. But I have what I need. Really appreciate your kind help folks.
