When I log in to a website that requires a password a box pops up and asks whether to save the password. If I click on don't save, the next time I visit the website it asks again. Every time. I've looked through the other queries and I see this can be fixed with never save. i don't see that option, there is no drop down menu on the pop up.

I've done that and the box doesn't come up but there are other sites where I am going to want the website to save the information. How can I set that? If I go in and change it back to save, will it continue to keep asking me on the few sites where I don't want it to?

Next to 'Ask to save logins and passwords for sites' you'll see : 'Exceptions' - click on that and enter the site(s) you don't want to save logins and passwords for.

Does that do what you want  ?

Hello andyg0404,

Would you do this please :

Options => Privacy & Security

Under Forms and Passwords : uncheck 'Ask to save logins and passwords for sites'.

Hi,

I had to recheck the box as when I went into a site where I had saved the information it wouldn't come up. Then I closed the browser and reopened it. When I did that and went to my bank I had the drop down option of never save. But when I went to Paypal the box asked if I wanted to save or update password, again with no drop down menu and option for never save. It seems a little arbitrary from site to site.

Thanks Andy

Hi,

Sorry, I hadn't seen your reply when I posted my last comment. Yes that has solved the problem. Thank you for your time, much appreciated.
