Split emails threads into individual emails
My client likes to keep their inbox clean because they get a lot of mail everyday. So they will move an email conversation to the trash once they think it is done, but then if the other person replies back to that thread the next day they will see the email in their inbox for a second then Thunderbird moves it over to the trash with the rest of the thread once it is processed. This causes them to miss some replies and they want to have any email sent to them be split from any previous thread and just show as an individual email item not connected to the rest of the thread. As far as I know this is just a function of how replies work in email but I was wondering if this is a possibility or if they just have to not move conversations to the trash.
Thanks

Suggest: If they decide a conversation of threaded emails is finished. If they delete the 'threaded' conversation, then they are choosing to delete the entire threaded conversation and that included anything that arrives as part of that threaded conversation.
Either: Delete all the threaded emails, but keep the original - the top one, so any subsequent received emails can show as threaded to original.
Or Unthread the emails first and then delete them as individual emails.
Also: Make sure you do not have the sort option set as threaded in the 'Trash' folder. Suggest Trash uses sort by ' Date' and 'Descending' and 'Unthreaded'
