Sometimes I get a server not found when I try opening a website. Even if there are other tabs open and internet is working. I have not changes any settings nor has my internet provider. using a VPN soles the issue as does refreshing about 300 times. this isgetting really annoying. i have tried the DNS setting but doesnt seem to work.

Try changing the network connection setting to No Proxy and then restart Firefox. See Connection settings in Firefox for more information.

If that doesn't help, try unchecking the Enable DNS over HTTPS option in the network settings in Firefox.

Otherwise, it sounds like it might be your security program installed on your computer that could be slowing or rejecting your connection. If you are using Avast or AVG antivirus products, this can often be resolved by disabling the HTTPS Scanning option in the program settings.

Hope this helps.
