can't login from another computer

Changed my password in lockwise to a generated one on my main pc due to a site breach elsewhere. When I try to login firefox to my laptop to sync it fails because it had the old password. When I go in to password and logins on the desktop, it still shows the old password. If I go to lockwise or my account on the desktop and try to log in to my settings, it uses my old account password and tells me wrong password.

But, if I close out firefox on the desktop, then reopen, I am able to access all my other passwords and logins, except changing things in accounts.firefox.com. I do not have a copy of the generated password in lockwise.

How do I fix this?
