Adding an item to the context menu
I am wondering if it is possible to customize the options that appear on the context menu (the menu that appears when you highlight a word) in Firefox for Android?
I currently have the wordreference.com app installed on my phone and I have noticed in some apps when I highlight a word a link to this app appears in the context menu which makes it easy to translate words within the app. For some reason this option isn't there when I do the same thing in Firefox. I'm not sure whether this is something that Firefox controls, the wordreference app controls or Android controls but thought this was the best place to start.
Many thanks, S

Hi Shaun
We do not yet have built in translation tools in Firefox for Android, but this is something that may be looked into for a future update.
Thanks Seburo,
This isn't quite what I was asking. I actually have an app that will do the translation I just need to add it to the context menu in Firefox if possible.
The attached images show what I mean. The first one is the additional options from the context menu that appears in Firefox - all that appears is a link to DuckDuckGo. The second one is from the Guardian app and you can see that it has a different set of options, one of which is to open the WordReference app. Is it possible to get this option to appear in Firefox?
There is an update due to Firefox for Android very soon that may allow you to "share" selected text with another app on your device. I do not know quite when this is due, but it should be what you are looking for.
