Display of other people's signature blocks

more options

I subscribe to several message digests. When a digest contains a signature block (indicated by "--<sp><cr>"), the following text, including that in subsequent messages in the digest, is displayed by Thunderbird in a light font, which I find difficult to read. Is there any was to change the way the signature block is displayed?

Are you reading the emails in 'Plain Text' mode ?

Signatures created and sent by someone using HTML, but are then read by someone using 'plain text' will display the signature as if it was faded.

Try: 'View' > 'Message Body as' and select 'Original HTML'

I am already using Original HTML. I did notice that quoted text brings an end to the lighter font; another signature block does not. I wanted to attach an example file but am only allowed to attach images, which I did not think would help much.
