I loaded Firefox onto a new Win10 laptop yesterday and made it the default browser (against the "recommended" Edge). Today some websites are loading very slowly (e.g. PCMag home page takes 30 seconds to load). Some https sites load normally and others are slow. I refreshed Firefox, did not fix it. Is there something I can do?

Is most of the time waiting for the main text to appears, or does that appear fairly quickly and then other resources fill in slowly?

You could consider installing an ad blocker to speed up sites that load slowly due to ads. This one is well regarded: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ From time to time you'll need to use its toolbar button to unblock missing content on the current page.

According to Me

Load That Website A Lot Of Times. Then Firefox Saves It In Cache And It Should Work

Thanks
