Hello, I installed Firefox on a new imac. It requested I set up sync with another device. Said device already has Firefox. The only option is to link to ios app store and it opens the Firefox already on my iPhone. What am I missing? It's a very frustrating loop of ridiculousness... Thx Pierce.

If you are talking about sync, sync is an option. Shut down sync from here.

Type about:accounts<enter> in the address bar.

Then shut it down.

Using Sync on another device merely means to connect to the same Firefox account if you already have Firefox installed on that device.

You can close the tab once you have created the Sync account if you do not want or can't add a mobile device.
