Recently some of my email, particularly from Apple and Prosper, appears with every character replaced with a d or weird punctuation. The message itself is intact, as I can view the text if I switch to simple HTML or plain text. I assume it's corruption in Thunderbird's UTF settings, but I'm not sure how to fix it. This is a new computer with a clean installation of Thunderbird 78.9.1.

Here is an example of what I'm seeing.

Keazen oplossing

I found the problem. Windows version of the Lucida Grande Regular font is corrupt. Removing it fixed the problem. Now to find a working version of that font.
