Hi I can not access password manager. I do have the main toolbar check off. So yes it is visible. However when I click on tools there is no setting for options. Also the app menu button(square with 3 horizontal lines) is not there in the right hand corner or anywhere. Is there any key combinations which will bring it up. I am using the latest version of thunderbird

I presume by main toolbar you mean 'Menu Bar', so you can see 'File, Edit, View, Go, Message, Events and Tasks, Tools and Help'

'Options' has been replaced by the word 'Preferences' Tools > Preferences select 'Privacy & Security' scroll down to 'Passwords' section

The other toolbar containing 'Get Messages, Write, Address Book etc' is the 'Mail Toolbar' The app menu button(square with 3 horizontal lines) should be on the 'Mail Toolbar' View > Toolbars > Mail Toolbar By default it appears on the Right - which I always thought seemed odd because all the menus start of the left - I've dragged mine over to the far left and it seems easier to locate in that position.

View > Toolbars > Customise This opens the Customise Toolbar window Is the menu app icon - (3 lines) available in the selection ? If yes: then drag it onto the 'Mail Toolbar' - I put mine on far left before 'Get Messages' and also added a vertical separator between them. Otherwise try clicking on the 'Restore Default set' button then click on 'Done' to close window.

Thanks for the solution. You know when I did a search for how to find the password manager I don't think one of them said anything about using preferences, Everything was options or the 3 bar thingy. Thanks so much for the simple solution
