I have read all the "solutions" to the above issue however the "solution" popups do not appear on my screen. For example, from the address, I can select multiple addresses in which to send emails. However when I select "Write", it puts them automatically into the "To" box. I want them in the "Bcc" box. I see where you can move them from the To to the Bcc but it won't let you select ALL of them, you have to move each one, one at a time.... ARRGGG. Why can't this simple issue be resolved? This was no problem with Windows Live Mail. One "solution" says I can select the contacts from my "address side bar" next to the email..... I have NO sidebar.

Well, it's mostly a workflow issue. Thunderbird has (in my opinion) a better approach than selecting from addressbook, but it requires some one-time setup. Click the compose window, and then place mouse over top row, right-click and drag 'contact's to the row. That's one time and done. From then on, when composing a message and wanting select addresses for To, CC, or BCC, click the contacts icon and a drop-down list of contacts appears. Click the ones you want in BCC list (or CC list or TO list) and they pop directly where you want them. The benefit, as I see it, is that this keeps the compose window in front of you and is fewer overall clicks to achieve the objective. I hope this info is helpful.

Thank you!! That worked. Donno why Thunderbird "help" didn't have this solution.... or perhaps I just have a 3rd grade reading level, huh?

No, it's not you. Help files tend to be written by technical people and they document what they believe is the only approach. It's no fault of theirs; they just seem to be the wrong people to write that stuff. I was glad to assist you.
