Why do my pages zoom when brousing

more options

When brousing especially say amazon or ebay, the page zooms in so it is way too big for the page. I can reduce the size by hitting control -, but then the text is too small. The zoom setting is set to 100%. How can I stop this from happening? Sometimes there is a drop down menu at the top of the page, so I can make the image smaller, but most times this drop down menu is not there. I am using an IMAC.

As it turns out, one of the most common causes that will trigger this kind of behavior is a stuck CTRL-key. If you didn’t know, if you press any of the CTRL keys and scroll upwards or downwards, the mouse’s scroll will produce zooming. This will happen in any application including native Windows programs like File explorer or WordPad.
