my Unified Inbox is empty

more options

I installed Thunderbird 102.4.0 on new computer with Windows 10, selected Unified Folders, but the Inbox for Unified Folders remains empty despite many messages in the Inboxes of my 2 accounts beneath it. I did right-click on Inbox for Unified; but the Properties box that opens does not allow me to select which folders to show (unlike the Thunderbird on my older computer which does that). How do I get the Unified Inbox to show all Inbox messages?

Keazen oplossing

Normally, when you click properties' on right-clicking the unified inbox, there is a 'choose' box, but you are indicating it is not there. Here is my suggestion: - UNtick unified folders. - exit thunderbird - in profile, select Mail folder and delete 'smart mailboxes' - restart Thunderbird - Tick Unified folders. I think that will fix it.

If you don't know how to locate profile, - click help>moretroubleshootinginformation' - scroll down to 'profile folder' - click 'open profile' - exit thunderbird

Thank you so much, David. Your very complete details, including how to locate Profile, worked like a charm. --Manya

Very odd. Unified Inbox now working again. Only action I did was....right click unified inbox_properties_Match All Messages (radio button)_Update. I have tried this before and it didn't work then, so could be unrelated.
