For the past 2 hours, something called "http://www1.cdnsure.com" has taken over Firefox, and directs me to its website no matter what link I type on, so I can do nothing. I tried to block it, but that just leaves me with a bunch of restricted website pages. I'm doing to try to reinstall Firefox and see if that fixes the problem. HELP!

Do you have a video download extension like FVD Video Downloader ?

Yes, but nothing particularly new that might have set off problem "this morning".

Why do you ask?

Do you actually know what "http://www1.cdnsure.com" is?

By the way, I finally solved the problem, otherwise. Resetting Firefox didn't work. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled it. After which I copied and pasted all elements from my old profile, but apparently problem/cause was embedded somewhere in old profile, so I redid install, and then did this time a very selective copy and paste of just the essential profile elements, and that fixed the problem. QED.

That said, I did not have a good morning with this, and of course, Norton support was of zero help
