Extension needs to be moved up on list
I need an extension frequently but I can't put it in the toolbar, and I can't move it to the top of the Extension list. What do I do? Is there a config setting I can use?

You should have the new extension button. You can right-click an extension listed in that or click the cog alongside the extension and select Pin to toolbar.
You can look at this workaround to order the list of the Extensions button drop-down list: First pin all icons to the toolbar via the gear icon or the right-click context menu. Unpin each of them in reverse order from the toolbar, each item you unpin is added at the top of the list, so the last item you unpin becomes the first in the list.
