I will attach the picture, but after the last update the icon doesn't update in the toolbar on Windows. If you restart Thunderbird it works on the first mail get, then stays stuck at the number forever. I found the same issue reported on an ubuntu forum, but couldn't find a windows report about it. Not sure how to submit an actual bug report.

My unread count doesn't automatically change any more, either. If it shows 2 unread messages and I open my mail window and read both and then minimize the window (to keep Thunderbird running, but without the window open), the icon still shows the number 2. But if I delete the two read messages, the counter disappears, as it should. (I'm on Windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 1778.) I think it's fair to hope/think/assume that's a minor problem that will be fixed in due course.
