Hi

I hope that I can mumble my way through this...

I run a SMF Forum and have no problems with any Browsers except for Firefox.... I like Mozilla Products a lot and would like to stay with Firefox..

I have uploaded two images, one with Chrome showing the image correctly and the other image using Firefox which doesn't show the image.

Is there a setting that I am Missing ?

Hi there,

As a Firefox support volunteer, I'd be happy to help you with the issue you're facing on your SMF Forum with Firefox. It's great to hear that you're a fan of Mozilla products and would like to continue using Firefox.

Based on your description, it seems that you're experiencing a problem where images are not being displayed correctly on your forum when using Firefox. Meanwhile, the images appear fine when using Chrome. I understand that you've uploaded two images, one showing the correct display in Chrome and the other displaying the issue in Firefox.

To troubleshoot this issue, I would suggest trying the following steps:

Clear cache and cookies: Start by clearing the cache and cookies in your Firefox browser. Sometimes, outdated or corrupted data can cause display issues.

Disable add-ons and extensions: Temporarily disable any add-ons or extensions you have installed in Firefox. These can sometimes interfere with the loading of images or other website content.

Test in safe mode: Launch Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. Safe Mode disables certain features and customizations, which can help identify if any specific settings or customizations are causing the problem.

Update Firefox: Ensure that you're using the latest version of Firefox. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues with certain websites or content.

Check forum settings: Review the settings in your SMF Forum's administration panel. There might be specific settings related to image display that need adjustment.

Sometimes, it wouldn't show the image but the attachment will be attached. So, you don't need to worry about that.

After trying these steps, test your forum again in Firefox to see if the issue is resolved. If the problem persists, please provide more details about your forum setup, any specific error messages you encounter, and any additional troubleshooting steps you've taken so far. This information will help us further investigate and provide targeted assistance.

I hope this helps, and I'm looking forward to your reply.
