So it looks like notifications stopped working with the lastest Firefox version 120.0.1. Specifically notifications functionality has stopped working for ForexFactory.com. The site says browser disallows notifications though the settings in the address bar indicate that they are allowed. This is also the case for other sites like MarketWatch. Wondering if there is a bug or my install is corrupted. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this or knows anything about this. Thanks.

Notifications don't work in private browsing mode (aka "Never Remember History") for privacy/security reasons.

In version 122 you will be able to override this by changing dom.webnotifications.privateBrowsing.enableDespiteLimitations to true in about:config then restart the browser.

You may also have to create a cookie allow exception for https://forexfactory.com/ and maybe for notifications without the www. prefix as well.

Unfortunately these ideas didn't work for me. I had to completely uninstall/install Firefox and works for now.
