Hello, for weeks now, upon doing Google searches using Firefox for iOS, I have been prompted to log in to my Google account, even though I was already logged in before and did not log out. It's not just to the extent that every time I start a new browser session and do a search, I have to log in -- I just navigate away from the app to another one and return, and I'm prompted to log in again even though I didn't quit the browser.

I've already searched for solutions to this problem and found the suggestions to clear browser cache, which I did, and to make sure cookies are enabled ... which I can't seem to do because I cannot find any such setting in the Firefox app settings itself, or in my phone's system settings under "Firefox".

I also realize this might be an issue with Google or my phone itself.

I'm using an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.2.1 and my Firefox app is up to date.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yeah, I know what you mean. Used to be an issue for me. Probably the website, if i recall right.

Last time I just waited and someone somewhere in the process did fix it.

Hi seastrains,

Did your issue got fixed? If clearing cache and enabling cookie don't solve your issue, you may want to retry to re-install the browser altogether. But make sure that you've saved your data with Firefox Account and sync it before doing so.
