Everytime i open firefox it defaults to bing, but not as a homepage which is just my regular firefox, rather as a startup screen. If the firefox application is closed and opened again it will default to bing.

Note that Firefox is a web browser and is not a search engine nor as a homepage. Bing.com is a search engine. Google is the default search engine in many language locales of Firefox including the English options.
