Created an account with the wrong email address but the email is active.
Hello,
I am new to Firefox and accidentally opened an account with the wrong email address. A code was sent to an active email address that I don't own. I created a second account which is the one that i'm asking this question from.
My question is how I secure this account from being used by the other email account I accidentally had my code sent to?

Did you already create a password for the first account? If so, I don't think the owner of the email address can get in or connect to it because they won't have the password.
Probably you will need to abandon that account at some point, but I'm not sure of the best way to do it.
Your second account should be fine because the other person presumably would have no idea what email address you used for the second account.
