Due to operational difficulties, I deleted Thunderbird from my laptop and now am trying to re-install.
Please assist me in the re-installation.

Oke , the laptop is cleaned with a laptop cleaner some antivirus is installed.
Go to the Thunderbird page and install a fresh new version of Thunderbird on that laptop that you discribe.
Go to the Thunderbird page and choose the latest version of Thunderbird.
